Collaboration: Concept and Location Mind-maps

 1. Vintage Comic book style and inspiration
 2. Scene mind-map; looking at various action rooms and halls we could use to design the scene around.
 3. Initial Mind-map. Visualising some of the earlier ideas and concepts and seeing what we wanted to stick with and what we wanted to develop onto.
4. Outfit designs. looking at some older film / tv superhero outfits to see what we could base some possible outfits on.

Here are some mind maps that I constructed for some of the ideas for our collaboration prompt " Forgotten / Failed superheroes". Me and my team have discussed the idea of our skit taking place through superhero audition sequence and taking inspiration from old comic books and the vintage marvel style to give the piece a more stylistic theme. I looked at both comic book and film / tv show designs for the outfits and settings as well, because compared to todays standards the outfits don't appear as serious compared to some more recent superhero outfits which we feel could play into the comedy more.

Sound Experiment 04

 Today I decided to record some more natural sounds, this time seeing how the sound of wind would sound through a window before I recorded it outside, as I think the slight whistling noise through the window would make it sound more interesting, I am planning on collecting more natural sounds, but I wanted to see how it would sound before I progressed onwards in case the background noise was too much in comparison to the wind and ruined it.  For the second sound for my second image, I wanted to continue to find something more sharper so I tried to record the sound of cactus spikes, particularly if I ran my fingers through it, as it makes a very sharp, high pitched sound that I think could work better, especially if I could replicate the sound to reflect the more smaller portions of the image.  Lastly I wanted to try and collect a more electronic sound for image one, to match its sharp, electric colours so I wanted to start by recording a microwave, as I thought is humming noi
