Moom Platform: Blocking Removed and Graph Editor Improvements

Image
For this lesson we had to think about timing and had to try and a-just the animation to the characters movements by removing the blocking and trying to line up the time with the movement and the expressions. I found this lesson quite easy especially since I feel I am now more used to blocking and animating using that technique, however I am still not, I feel as comfortable with using the graph editor, but In the second video I think my attempt to try it on the hip CTRL worked well, and although I still feel like the animation needs some more cleaning, I think it's turning out rather well.

MudBox: Introduction - Layers: Working with Sculpt Layers

Image
Original Un-tick Creases and Hard Edges on Subdivision Options  Hot-key (Shift D) on Helmet only  (Shift D) on Both  Turn off Everything on Subdivision Options (Accept Preserve UV border and Smooth Position) Working With Sculpt Layers: Locked Layers Layer Edit: New Layer and Layer Number Edit  Editing on Two Separate Layers I have started on the Linkdn Learning tutorials for Mudbox and so far I think its going well, although I am struggling to adjust to the software (despite the fact I have my hotkeys set to Maya preferences). I think I am getting the hang of at this point, the layers and the number association with the editing of the model, however I am on a laptop, so cannot switch between the layers as easily, so am having to do it manually on the options, but apart from that I think I am getting a good grip on how to use some of the features at this point.  I know I will have to do a bit of investigation because I'm on a laptop

Moom: Platform Walking Basic Animation and Fill In

Image
Managed to complete the Moom platform walk, after a few issues I have previously had with moving the rig to each platform I have finally managed to complete the base and the more advanced animation, taking in consideration the hands and the face while doing this, and trying to make the poses look good on their own. I still need to install the ghost script and see what the poses look like on that in the full sequence, but I'm at this point happy with how with how this looks and am ready to move on.
